Subject: KS The Elven Queen’s Duty (Last Sword resinish elves)
Last Sword minis are having a Kickstarter for more of their plastic-resin elves. The theme of this one seems to be the Elven court, including shieldmaidens, archer maidens, cavalry, Mages, and a rather badass looking everqueen.
Here is a link.. I’ll try to add pictures to this thread if I can figure out how to do that on this blasted device.
Having pledged for two of their previous campaigns, I vouch for their quality.

I think it’s pretty good, although a bit reminiscent of finecast. Here is a review that discusses the material:
Their material is something pretty weird. I've not seen it elsewhere, especially because it can bend a lot without breaking nor changing shape (it returns to original position).
According to the KS: Plastic resin is a new material developed by Alemany Minitures . You have never seen something like this before (if it is your first kickstarter with us). Is not Poliurethane resin or resin from other companies as Finecast resin or Bones.
In any case, I absolutely love the designs. If I ever build a HE army, it will be 100% with these minis.

This is my jam and I am interested. BUT, they haven't fulfilled their undead KS yet. Plus, I already have two Kickstarters-worth of warrior women I've barely started on, with s third on the way. Much as I'd be down for these, I'll have to pass.
The material like others has said, is interesting. It's a unique blend. I thought it held details well. I've painted a few up and despite having some very delicate bits, I have yet to encounter any actual breaks.
That's including me regularly dropping them while painting, so take of that what you will.
I quite like their character models. The infantry units, not as much, but that's more my disdain for large quantities of similar looking figures to have to build and paint.
Plus the whole waiting for lizards and undead still. At least the lizards look like they're getting close to the end with.
Poorly lit photos of my ever- growing collection of completely unrelated models!
They are good, but sometimes run late. I’ve received two campaigns worth of stuff, but am waiting for the lizardmen KS, which was more recent.
As for scale, was 5th edition the one with the older monopose elves? These are less heroic in scale. Compared to Island of Blood elves, I think they are slightly shorter. I’ll try to dig out some examples, but that might take a while...
