Ok so here's my first attempt at a fluffy but comp as possible freebooterz list.

The only things I'd really like to include are 2-3 transports, as I'll be converting some orky pirate ships, plus the gitz, as can't have freebooterz without gitz.

Also, i'm new to orks so bear with me if I've messed up anywhere!

Freebooterz vanguard

Warboss - WL, killa klaw, killa reputation, kustom shoota

4 meganobz - klaw and kustom shoota
6 nobz - 3 klaws, 3 big choppas
Waagh banner nob - kustom shoota

Freebooterz battalion - blitz brigade

Big Mek with KFF
Weirdboy - warpath

20 shoota boys
10 grotz
10 grotz

Bonebreaker - 4 big shootas, deffroller
5 Mek gunz - smasha gunz

Freebooterz battalion - dread waagh, extra gubbinz

Big Mek - souped up shokka
Badrukk - ammo runt

6 tankbustas - rockets, 2 bomb squigs

Chinork warkopta - 2 rattler kannons, big shoota

Plan is for the warboss, nobz, waagh banner, weirdboy and KFF Mek to rock up in the bonebreaker and get stuck in asap, with meganobz teleporting in.

I've added blitz brigade so the shoota boys can hang on the bonebreaker and get up to midfield, but might drop this to save CP

Gitz and badrukk get into midfield range in the big trakk. Tank bustas go in the chinork, can scout in turn 2 to help keep the kopta alive if necessary.

Mek gunz and souped up shokka Mek sit back and try and trigger freebooter trait and try and keep all the shooty units within 24" of each other.

I wanted to try and avoid taking big mobs of boys and try something a bit different, but maybe I've gone too many toys and not enough boys?

Also, is there enough firepower? Any ideas to make it more comp while keeping on theme would be great.

I'm relatively new to this version but I can already tell you that you don't have enough boys. Those screening units of grots will get shredded in round 1 from a combination of bolter fire and morale losses leaving everything else to be killed round 2.

The age old role of orks is this: Orks do one thing and they do it well. That means pick one thing to do with them and do that! Either LOTS of bouys OR LOTS of shooty stuff OR Lots of small units in trukks OR.... you get the idea.

Haha ok so that's a nope then?!

Guess I could focus on either shooting or fighting, I think maybe also fewer units that I can buff with strats more effectively. Don't want to do loota bomb though.
