Can anyone recommend something to track CP on?
Ideally some sort of dial for me and an opponent. I had a quick ebay check but haven't found anything decent.

These exist in a number of board games, but I'm not entirely sure I've seen many commercially available.

Many laser-cut companies have generic dials, and maybe a company like Litko will do some?

Looks like they have quite a few?

I like the hexy shop ones. Go to hexy.store and enter battle tracker in the search bar.

If you play X-wing, the huge ships have a two-double-dial counter.

Turn the top part over and stick on GW transfers.

If you end up looking at 3D printables, shout unless you have access to a printer.

I've known too many people that roll their 'counter' dice.

I use a set of self-designed tokens. I have a couple different sets which I can use for stratagem indication/spell indication/CPs and hidden deployment, etc.

We usually use a D12 or 20 so that's never happened.

Ttcombat sell wound marker dials that would work pretty well. I find them a little too big for tracking wounds but they would be fine for CP's

I have one set of dice that I use exclusively as Command Points because I'm certain they're cursed and I'm afraid to actually roll them.

Ive been using D10s but its too easy to knock it or accidentally pick it up thinking its a wound counter as I use d10s as wound counters for ma bigger stuff.
Thanks for the suggestions.

Lots of great stuff on Etsy > https://www.etsy.com/search?q=40k%20tracker

We bought our KT sets from a UK seller, trying to find their store again ...

I ended up ordering one off Etsy. Really surprised how hard these are to find.

Just had a thought though, surely there's an app version for tracking VP, CP & round somewhere?

Oh hey! That's where we got our KT counters and CP/VP trackers from. Very much recommend, as the counters are straight up acrylic versions of the junky paper GW ones.

I use poker chips. I have even used the water slide transfers to make them army specific. I figure Cps are currency you spend and earn (5+) during the game so I why not toss them in like a poker game.

This is a picture of the token sets I use. I designed four different colours (for different armies/players), but they're pretty efficient.

Basically you get the six objectives with a blank and numbered side, a bunch of spell and strategy tokens just to indicate who has been targeted by a spell or stratagem (green side = positive buff, red side = negative penalty), a few weapon impact tokens for....weapons that have a special rule once they wound a creature (like the Leviathan's autocannons which impart a morale penalty, etc.), then simple CP tokens which are numbered on the back if you want to use the same tokens for hidden deployment --- a rule which is rarely used in GW scenarios, but....doesn't hurt.

Toss a set in a small baggy and shove it in my dice box.

I got these from Etsy. There's a variety of wound dial / point tracker widgets on there, in laser cut MDF like these, or acrylic plastic. Some are simple single-value dials, others have multiple dials in the same piece, tracking command points, victory points, turn count, etc.

I like these rather than dice for the most part. When I have to use a die for a wound counter there's always the risk it's going to be knocked over, or left behind when a model moves, or scooped up with other dice, etc.
