I’m new to Epic and was wondering how many little berserkers or Chaos marines should be put on a unit’s base? And does the Lord go on his own base? And then I’ve seen squares and long rectangles in other Epic armies online; which is preferred and what’s the standard sizes for those, if any? I’d rather use round bases, is that a thing in Epic?

As for the juggernauts and fleshhounds what about those? I really like the daemon engines though and noticed the big titans are on round bases; would it be okay to use round bases then on the Lord of Battles and Cauldrons of Blood/ Towers of Skulls type of units?

I looked at rules on Epic UK and didn’t see the base sizes and shapes anywhere.

Thanks for any pointers!

The rules for basing are at the beginning of the rulebook, see 1.1.2 Stands.

It very much depends on which edition you're playing.

D’oh! Scrolled right by that. Looking for BASES.

Seems like I can go round stands then. Keeps it more 40k style and makes sense for equal distance measuring. Hexagonal bases for vehicles makes sense too easily determination of front firing arcs.

Thank you!
