New Start with a new Army.

Some tactics i try to do:
Chaos Lord with Aura Support for the Plagueburst Crawlers,
Miasma from the Plaguecaster for the Plague Marines holding objectives,
Demon Prince does some Facebashing.

Additional thoughts:
A screening horde like 60 Plaguebearers would be nice but i went for more kill power with this list,
Plagueburst Cralwers screening plaguemarines and the lord should be doing the job just fine.

C&C more than welcome

Hi McToasti, welcome to the (Death) Guard!

For starters, your plague marines could do with a bit of love. Not sure how people would feel about facing the plague brethren - I mean they're brilliant models - but are essentially an under-strength plague marine squad, so it might be worth picking up some easy-build PMs to fill out the squad.

I think the general view from the competitive stand-point is that PMs don't hold up much these days, but I still like them and they work fine for casual and semi-competitive games. They're best run with 3 plasma guns (champion can take one) or 2 blight launchers - which combo well with an Arch-Contaminator warlord. Upgrading your PMs is a good an easy way to start building on what you have.

If you want to go for a more competitive choice, fill up your battalion with cheap poxwalkers, and invest in a squad of Blightlord Terminators - these are rock hard and near impossible to shift in large squads. They're primarily anti-infantry though so don't go tank hunting with them.

Do you know what your sin is, Malcolm Reynolds?
Ah hell, I'm a fan of all seven.
But right now, I'm gonna have to go with wrath.
