Important announcement!

Due to the COVID-19 current situation, Polish postal service providers has temporarily suspended accepting international parcels. Therefore, we are forced to hold up the orders shipping during that time.
We will continue to accept the orders and assemble them as usual, but they will be posted as soon as the situation returns to normal. Due to this obligatory shift in delivery time, we prepare a 15% discount for our entire assortment:

We count for your understanding.

just seen this pop on the facebook feed from several Polish gaming companies, no indication yet if this is temporary or is going to carry on for the duration of the crisis, but something to be aware of other polish mini companies I can think of listed below will also be effected

Titan-Forge
4 hrs ·
International shipping from our country is currently suspended. All pending orders from the www.titan-forge.com store and KS will be sent right after the safety provisions are lifted.
Thank you for your understanding

Kromlech (seems they are trying to get round this by using couriers rather than the national postal service, so they may be ok for the moment https://www.kromlech.eu/EN-H5/1/393/shipping-update-on-covid-19.html)

Not long before this happens to other companies. At least most if not all gamers have a big back catalogue of unpainted models to get through.

Hope it doesn't result in the death of smaller miniature companies. Would be ashame to see the hobby shrink, especially after it is going through a very good time for variety.

The objective of the game is to win. The point of the game is to have fun. The two should never be confused.

Exactly. They need to stick to the science! There is no evidence an intentional parcel could transmit the disease, and a lot of evidence showing it is not viable on surfaces for very long at all. Panic measures like this which don't help anything need to stop... it is paralyzing businesses unnecessarily, and therefore adding to the problem, not helping.

If anything, it would be Much safer to get everything by mail, rather than in person!

or, just maybe, stick to making sure the virus has as few transmission vectors as possible. After all, until recently it wasn't even known it can last up to 48hrs on surfaces.

The weird thing is it's OUTGOING international mail that's been suspended so it's can't be to stop virus spread (unless they're sending the people involved in processing it home?)

As tneva said, there is zero evidence for this being an issue. It is actually the opposite, it's safer to order things by mail! Trust the science, not hysteria...

Whoever made that decision is not acting in the interest of public health.

I think it's more likely they won't be sorting it for staffing purposes as opposed to risk of infection from parcels.

They're closing outgoing international mail because poland is closing outgoing international flights. So no airmail. and yes, we are cutting working hours for postal offices.

NOOOOOOO! Two long long awaited KS projects were slated to come to me from Poland this month...
Ah well, I guess if it helps people stay safe from the WuFlu I can wait a couple more months.

Arses.

This poses a risk to Lootin’!

Still intend to hit Warhammer World this weekend, but will need to think about decent delay for postage.

Whelp my Maxmini parcel is going to have to wait a while then (granted even when polish post was working it still took a month to get to the UK side). Though I'm not too worried, unless it gets lost in some huge backlog mess.

I've got plenty to get on with.

Personally the bigger risk to wargames is when companies like GW have to shut their stores and factories down as well or operate on reduced staff etc...

Small companies might get hard hit, but at the same time more governments seem to have some relief options for smaller businesses so I really hope they look at what's on offer to get support there.

Good point. Guess that explains it. Without airplanes how is poland post service supposed to get them to destination? Own planes, out of questions. Ships I guess. Going to slow down deliveries for sure...

And flying empty airplanes just for non essential mail deliveries isn't that feasible and in current climate enviroment talk situation bad pr move.

I don't think PP even has it's own planes, and polish airlines is busy bringing poles back from abroad, so that wouldn't work either.

Speaking of, since all non-essential stores in malls are closed, I will not be picking up my direct-order Butcher any time soon. I really thought 2 weeks would be enough for GW to deliver it to store.
