How do?

Low on battery, so I’ll be brief.

Queen Victoria had a plan to unite various Empires via a bloodline. As a theory, it’s not too bad. Of course we know it failed (oh hai, WW1)

But are there any alternative history novels where it worked?

Jon Courtenay Grimwood's first seven (?) books are set in a history where Germany won WW1 if that's the sort of thing you're after (unless you're really into cyberpunk, go with the Arabesk trilogy).
