So the title might be "slightly" hyperbolic as I don't think its the entire spin-off series content, but it is pretty much the entire core Witchblade series in one bundle

www.humblebundle.com/books/witchblade-25th-anniversary-top-cow-books

T1 £1
Angelus Vol1 (Issues 1-6 - all)
Artifacts Vol 1 and 2
Witchblade Origins Genesis 1,2,3 (Basically issues 1 through to 25)
Witchblade issues 26-79 (all single issues never put into a volume)

T2 £6.50
The Magdalena Origins
The Necromancer
Darkness Levels
Artifacts Vol 3 and 4
Witchblade vol 1- 8 (issues 80 -130)
Witchblade Redemption Vol 1-4 (121-150)

T3 £11.50
The Darkness/Pitt Vol 1
The Darkness Compendium Vol 1
Artifacts Issues 30-40 (ends here)
Artifacts Vol 5 and 6
Witchblade Case Files
Witchblade Due Process
Witchblade Day of Outlaws
Witchblade Rebirth vol 1,2,3,4 (issues 151-169)
Witchblade Borne Again vol 1,2,3 (issues 170-END!)
Witchblade 2017 Vol 1,2

This is basically the ENTIRE core series of Witchblade, plus several complete supporting series as well as the "brother series" The Darkness Compendium 1 (which is basically half of the Darkness series - so a massive amount in its own right).

If that wasn't enough there's also the first two published volumes for the new Witchblade series (2017).

Basically this is a one-stop get everything Witchblade bundle - ideal to fill in gaps or to make a start. For the price of T3 at only £11.50 that is a massive steal of a price.

Stupid question, but is it actually good? I know very little of Witchblade beyond a few passing references from the web and various artwork.

"Through the darkness of future past, the magician longs to see.
One chants out between two worlds: Fire, walk with me."
- Twin Peaks
"You listen to me. While I will admit to a certain cynicism, the fact is that I am a naysayer and hatchetman in the fight against violence. I pride myself in taking a punch and I'll gladly take another because I choose to live my life in the company of Gandhi and King. My concerns are global. I reject absolutely revenge, aggression, and retaliation. The foundation of such a method... is love. I love you Sheriff Truman." - Twin Peaks

I've enjoyed the first three volumes (up to issue 20 or so) though it was a while back. The only reason I stopped was because the bundles back when I got into it started at issue 80. I only bought three volumes in before pausing and getting distracted with other comics at the time; and because I was sort of waiting/hoping for a bundle like this to appear. Esp as the issues 20-80 were never put into a volume so their cost was greater.

I'd say its more than easily worth the £11.50 - however you could easily pay for the T1 at £1 and have a go at the very start and see if you like it. If you do just pledge money again for the higher tiers to unlock them.

Been eyeing this one. Apologies if this is redundant, but does this bundle cover whole Witchblade runs? I'd never turn down a comic bundle from Humble (nearly fell out of my chair when the Fairy Tail and Bloodshot bundles popped up), but I'd like to avoid getting several beginnings before realizing I need to hunt down several more endings.

That's not to say the bundle isn't extremely generous as it is, just a small pet peeve.

As far as I'm aware it contains the whole of the core run of comics and a good few supporting ones including the first big chunk of The Darkness in its Compendium.

I know that Witchblade has a fair few splinter off series and this bundle doesn't cover all of them. However its the biggest collection I've seen of Witchblade in several years.

I know what you mean about hating to hunt down stuff (though digitally at least for Witchblade its pretty much all on Comixology) as I prefer to grab as much as I can too in bundles. I'd say this one is worth it, whatever bits are missing are side-series in their own right rather than "core" series and would likely have bundles of their own in time.

Asides at £11.50 for what is likely £300+ easily bought separately (or a long time hunting for deals and sales on each bit) I'd say it takes out the lions share of the bite.

Kinda sad I missed a few bundles - mostly any of the Dark Horse Conan ones as now Marvel has the licence they aren't reprinting/publishing the re-mastered and recoloured versions that Dark Horse did which means I've well over 20 odd comics to potentially hunt down as print versions - a nightmare as the UK isn't anywhere near as big on comics as the USA and it means each one carries a fairly high price tag too.

Ooh. That's tempting. That's very tempting.

EDIT: That wasn't tempting. That wasn't even a question. Took me all of about 8 seconds to hum and haw and go find my wallet...

Damn you Humble Bundle!

For me some of these mega series of comics are just too expensive to buy into any other way than a Humble Bundle. Once you're talking about hundreds of comics with a combined price into the hundreds - the cost is just such a huge barrier of entry to the story. Bundles are a lifeblood and heck if I get hooked I'm far more likely to start buying newer comics by them and follow along rather than wait another 5 years or whatever. So it works out great for both comic creators and new fans.

I keep hoping to spot 2000AD appear on humble - they've got something like over 2000 comic issues now if not more.

Wouldn’t be surprised if a 2000AD bundle shows up at some point. Humble has done few IDW bundles before in the past couple of years.

I liked them, I read them while growing up so I may have a bit rose tinted view on the series.

Honestly, this is the exact thing that stops me buying into so many comic series. Judge Dredd, Alien/Predator, even Marvel/DC. I'd love to collect them (them and many more), but there's too many, and it costs too much to get them.

Some libraries have reasonable comic collections, but rarely do you ever get more then one or two in sequential order.

Were Humble to do a Dredd bundle, i'd lose my mind.

I think Dred has had bundles in the past, but its such a huge library that I think they were only bits of them? And being totally not familiar its hard to know what you're actually getting sometimes with the mega series. Esp since its a bit like Discworld in that fans of the series can drop in and out at any point, because they mostly read them from the start as they were published. So they've got the background in their head and can jump in at any point. Whilst a new fan really wants to start at the beginning.

Aliens though I didn't find too bad - there's 8 or so Omnibus editions that collect together the vast bulk of the Alien comics and they've been on sale on Comixology a good few times. Predator is the same, but I've not bought into them yet.
Of course Alien also has some very expensive "film comics" and storyboard ones; and their listings are confusing because some of the individually listed series are within some of the omnibus versions (seriously sometimes I want to strangle comic book writers for making their series so difficult to get into in terms of what goes where - and for not publishing a simple reading-order list )

Can anyone tell me why using the "bulk download" option doesn't download all of the comics?

I got 9 out of the 70+ that are there. I really don't want to individually download them all....

I think their bulk download doesn't download everything, but instead starts downloading X number and then each time one finishes it starts a new download. So basically rolling downloads.

However I think it only works if you've got your net setup to automatically allow downloads without first asking you to confirm and to also confirm the download location. Because if you do that then every time it rolls over a new download it needs user input.
