Are there traitor guard/worlds similar to Cadians/Cadia?

I understand a world exactly like Cadia would be applicable (the pylon thing) but a world who’s sole purpose is to spit out very professional traitor guard? A world that’s basically a bunker with elite guardsmen but of the traitor type?

The Sanguinary Worlds in the Gaunt's Ghosts' series churn out Blood Pact troopers, although there's no one world explicitly named for it, nor any mentioned as Fortress Worlds.

Maybe on the other side of the Eye ? IIRC it's pretty heavily guarded too. But I don't know if they breed soldiers there

Not an world but organisation:

Alpha legion and their non marine Operatives.

Iron warriors also make extensive use off auxilia, how good they are depends probably on the sub group.

GW:"Space marines got too many options to balance, therefore we decided to legends HH units."
Players: "why?!? Now we finally got decent plastic kits and you cut them?"
Chaos marines players: "Since when are Daemonengines 30k models and why do i have NO droppods now?"
GW" MONEY.... erm i meant TOO MANY OPTIONS (to resell your army to you again by disalowing former units)! Do you want specific tyranid fighiting Primaris? Even a new sabotage lieutnant!"
Chaos players: Guess i stop playing or go to HH.

A world like Cadia? I have not heard of such a thing. I would figure that there are plenty of planets producing traitor guard but nothing on the level of Cadia. I think that the 1ksons keeps a large contingent of traitor guard as homeworld defense and actually treats them with a modicum of respect. I am sure there are few other situations like this and it has been mentioned that the IW's have close ties to a few guard armies. Im not sure about AL because a large stagnant presence that a traitor guard army brings is against how they do business. I think they would rather, and do manipulate existing forces. But I have no hard line evidence of this. I would think that the World Bearers and Black Legion would also make use of large guard forces.

AL allways used to have more "operatives" then actual marines.
And hiding off formations in a state that doesn't even have a working bureaucracy is relativly easy. (infiltrate a PDF if need be and use them as training grounds. heck build up a PDF or house militia just for building formations.)

Mendengard would be my guess, likely the most heavily defended planet in eye space

Yeah, of all the traitor legions, iron warriors or the black legion would most likely have the logistics for a large scale military world given their perchance for attrition and siege warfare for IW and the sheer size and numbers for the BL.

Iron Warriors homeworld within the eye, not their original homeworld of Olympia.

the entire planet is basically a fortress in the literal sense

It's not really like Cadia though. It's less a defence against hordes of enemies and more a bunch of squabbling children and whichever god Perturabo follows.

Medrenguard and other planets ruled by the Iron Warriors are probably the closest to anything that Cadia was, though, as the IW do recruit and train professional soldiers, often wearing red uniforms and armed with Guard-equivalent weaponry.

Not that you are at fault for thinking this as a lot of fluff reinforces the idea that the bad guys are unorganized and prone to inter factional violence (not just chaos...orcs also) but the Traitor legions could not operate on a day to day basis acting as such. And the one that does is no longer a legion. I mean, the idea of the current world eaters just doesnt work. How are the warbands traveling without logistics?

Regardless, Iron Warriors along with the Black Legion are the most stable of legions as far as infighting goes. Thousand sons dont fight each other but are prone to cult rivalries. Even the Nightlords show an amazing amount of cohesion despite the "lolkiller" meme. My point is, IW's got gak on lock down. Pert is a bad ass as well. Wish we would see more of the IW's and pert but the faction is one of the least popular legions in my experience (which could be wrong).
