I always think that 1 dominion squad with multiple stormbolters (blessed bolts each turn) and a combiplasma (2 shots at s7, quite safe) is a good chioce, but then,
seraphim squad A (4 inferno pistols)
seraphim squad B (4 hand flamers)

That way, you can jog the dominions along behind oyur army and sprinkle out blessed bolts sort of at random, but then your enemy won't know which sort of seraphim you will drop and when, or where, and he has to cover his big tanks and backline against the squad A .. usually with screens you can easily kill with squad B. If he is a horde and trying to rush your army, then the screens become the target -- but if he is using stuff like an eldar flyer, or a valkyrie, or a tank commander, or a landraider, or .. well, there is a joke about what happens to a frog without an invuln shield when squad A deadly descends next to it... the punchline is the same thing as anything else.

I totally don't know about the points for this, though, I think you would need a few extra points but I can't remember the price differences from dominions to seraphim offhand. Anyway. This gives you maximal fast attack tactical flexibility -- and might be worth trading something else off to achieve. I am sure that's a playstyle thing, and I haven't ever used seraphim, so maybe I am over impressed with them on paper, too. But its an idea.

Pts wise its a straight swap but the reason i wanted 2 dominions was to keep 1 on the battle sanctum on an objective and have one to move up with my lines.


I debated the handflamer seraphim and then took them out. While good on paper i have a fair amount of low S firepower in the list but it is something i have gone back and fourth on

Yeah, that makes good sense. I use scions a lot, and I can drop every single one of them the same turn, so they support each other, but you literally cannot do that with short range pistol troops because only 1 per round gets to deadly descend, so yeah, I kind of see why you picked 2 dominion squads.

Also, I am a gaurd player. Nothing in my list is NEAR as resilient as sisters infantry unless I soup in some sisters infantry, so if its walking on the ground, its probably going to die -- but for you, its perfectly reasonable to expect the enemy will go crazy trying to kill it and just have the hospitalier bring them back each turn.
