Does anyone know where this information can be found, or have it that they can post here?
Last night, some buddies and I were discussing sales and pondering what % of 40k sales each army made up. We couldn't find anything online.
I thought I remembered seeing break downs like that here in the past, but couldn't find them with a search.

Any help would be appreciated.

Nope.

You can find their reports here -> https://investor.games-workshop.com/

The annual reports show how far they break it down.

Surveys have been done and estimates made, though no official data from GW as far as I’ve ever seen

We don’t even know for sure what percentage of GW sales are made up of 40K, AOS, etc...

The only official data of any kind like that was during the Chapterhouse court case, as they were legally obliged to disclose it (which also dispelled the myth that SMs outsold all of WHFB too, as some quick maths shows how untrue it was). It's buried n there somewhere but I can't tell you exactly where in the transcripts.

I specifically remember seeing it in the past.
The Chapterhouse case may well have been when that was. Thanks, Grimtuff.

And, with the changes GW have made, those numbers wouldn't exactly be a good reference any more. LOL

the one thing the Chapterhouse numbers showed was that sales were directly related to relleases of new rules and units no one wanted also made army boxes containing them sell badly

According to this investment report (https://www.edisongroup.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/04/Games-Workshop-Group-On-a-mission.pdf), LotR+Hobbit accounts for 2% of revenues and Forge World for 5% (2019 fiscal year). No figure is given for the other product ranges like 40K or AoS, but it states that 40K is the biggest one.
According to this thread on reddit (https://www.reddit.com/r/Warhammer/comments/814l4f/what_percentage_of_gw_sales_is_from_40k_and_age/), which quotes B&C, AoS accounted for 30% of revenues in 2017-18.

An estimate could be 60% 40K, 30% AoS, 5% Forge World, 2% LotR, 3% other specialist games. Those percentages could be adjusted a couple of points up or down, probably, but they wouldn't be far off the real, unknown revenues breakdown imho.
Royalties from video games are not reported under revenues by GW, but after operating profit pre-royalties, so they aren't included in the numbers previously mentioned.
