Over the last few years Ive been working on and off on a tabletop miniatures game concept revolving around 1/144 scale mech combat. In the game, giant robots called A.R.M.S take to the battlefield at the behest of isolated and fractured city-states to secure resources and defend their people from rivals.

The game
Iron Dragoons focuses primarily on being fast and easy to play, with each ARMS in your team able to move at high speeds thanks to their array of thrusters and boosters, as well as powerful energy sources. A keep feature of the game is outmanoeuvring your opponent, so there's a constant back and fourth of positioning that leads to exciting engagement. Customisation is a pretty big feature too, with all the ARMS being comprised of three main components, torso, arms and legs, which can be swapped freely within the constraints of weight and cost.

The progress so far
Currently I have nine core ARMS developed, half a dozen alternate legs and arms, and around forty equipment pieces. All of these parts need their cards designed and studio models printed, painted and photographed.

The core rules are complete, the only thinks that are being worked on at the moment are campaign rules and optional pilot rules to add even more depth to the game and allowing games to be linked.
