Hi all,

I was hoping someone could give me some recommendations on a painting tray / station I could use on my desk. Turns out, working from home I have a lot of spare time, so I want to be able to grab a tray of sorts which I can put on and take off my desk depending on whether I have something to do. it will also drop the drybrushing getting on my desk

I primarily use Citadel paints and I have seen a few MDF ones but that doesn't attest to whether they are any good etc. My only real criteria is that it needs to be open at the front (i.e, not boxed in on all 4 sides).

I use a tattoo station from amazon they're pretty inexpensive and they do the job perfectly. Cup holders the lot!

I'm actually interested in this too. Know any that could be put right on a desk? Especially if they include or can hold a wet pallet as I'm looking into getting or making one of those.

I bought a laser cut MDF painting station from TTCombat with the paint pot stands for GW pots. I then cut it down ever so slightly to fit in a breakfast tray thingy with legs. This let's me carry it around easily and paint on the sofa and on my bed and I can still take the paint station out and put it on a desk. The tray is also robust enought for a lamp.attachment.

I wouldn't say you could use it for marathon sessions, but for an hour here or there it's perfect.

Please excuse any spelling errors. I use a tablet frequently and software keyboards are a pain!

I think Sarissa Precision also do a range of laser cut paint stations.

I'm using the Pro station from Hobby Zone : https://www.hobbyzone.pl/en/tables-for-painting/18-professional-paint-station.html

It's very neat. The working surface is wide enough that I was able to put a small cutting tray from Army Painter onto it, so it doubles as a craft station where I can work on models if needed. There is enough room on it for my wet palette (Red Grass), a couple pots of water, and my brushes. The 3 lines can hold a large number of paint pots, making it easy to sort paints before starting a project.

I don't use the 2 little side trays, though.

Those all look very nice. Great options. I think I might get a Sarissa paint rack as I've been thinking about getting something like that for a while. One thing I noticed though is that the picture for their large rack shows most of the paints being stored upside down. Is that how you're supposed to store paints?
