Reeves and Winter have been plugging away at getting this made for a decade. I sincerely doubt that they don't want to be there.

I’m in. Probably not at movie theater prices, but will catch it once it streams somewhere.

But that’s my caveat for most movies these days.

I don't really get the premise of the movie - they're searching for the song that will unite the world, as if Miley Cyrus's "Party in the USA" didn't already exist.

I hope they do “bootstrap” their own songs into existence with a causal loop the way Skynet invented it’s own processor. That would make the ridiculous premise of the first movie sci-fi plausible and logically consistent—which would be even more ridiculous in the best way.

I'm expecting this to be awful, it already looks like they're way overdoing bits, but I'm in either way

I often find that this is the best attitude to take to a film.

I sincerely expected the Hobbit to be awful like a Star Wars prequel, while all of my friends somehow thought it would be as good or better than LotR.

In the end, most of my friends hated those movies, but they surpassed my expectations fantastically.
