I saw the GIF of the Sax Marine on a Land Raider and thought "Yes I want THAT!" As i don't own a 3D printer and gaks kind of fethed where i'm at, i'd like to somehow request one to be made OR have you kind folks of DAKKA help me Throw a KITBASH together to help me create this wonderful mini. I am willing to pay someone to make/send me one (pm me). BUT i also wouldn't mind people throwing around their ideas for a KITBASH.

Ah yes, a true classic. I'm sure it wouldn't be too hard to kitbash a marine with a sax. The hardest part would be finding or making an instrument of appropriate size. I'll keep an eye out for some. If this works, I might make a CSM Noise Marine band and we can have a play off on the table.

Yeeeeeessss, keep an eye out ive been trying to look on sites like etsy n what not , but its rather elusive.

Hmmm, would require a bit more work than I would hope for - and I hate cutting up OOP models - but I could see it working if it comes down to that.

I have been looking into using 3rd Party services to sort of make our own. I threw together this guy pretty quick as a Noise Marine test in Hero Forge: https://www.heroforge.com/load_config%3D8633366/

I'll puts a bit with heroforge maybe i can find something, i found a saxophone type thing on a 3rd party 3d printing website but i have no idea how to make it work.

Yeah, the sax isn't there, but we can use the pose system to get the model into a good sax player pose and find a sax part somewhere else. Maybe even find someone here with 3D modeling and printing experience willing to make it for us.

Also, Hero Forge now has an option to buy just the 3D printing files, so someone could add in a sax before printing.

Take a look at "saxophone charms" or pendants on Ebay.
There are loads there that look like they would work.

Great idea! I'm sure there's a good sized charm for every instrument we could want.

Hmm looking more into it and some of the charms might work, gotta sift through a lot . most are sized wierd.

Well, I haven't found perfect stuff for the conversion, I did have this pop up in my youtube suggestions.
