Morning all!

I have unilaterally decided that, henceforth, the week commencing on or closest to 22nd June will be The International Ambulatory Transport Platform Appreciation Period, of MechWeek for short.

Who am I to make this decision? Yeah, that's a fair question. I'm really just a big fan of massive stompy robots with a modest social media following, creating a vehicle (pun intended) that aligns with my enthusiasms and should hopefully drive some of that sweet, sweet digital traffic my way. And, as this is the very first year and I've literally made this up off the top of my head, I'm making this up as I go along. But I will be:

* Offering a 15% discount on all mechs and mech upgrade packs on Precinct Omega with the code STOMPY from 22nd to 28th June 2020.
* Posting blog posts about mechs
* Making videos about mechs
* Looking at mech minis
* Looking at mechs in popular culture
* Looking at mechs with a serious, military eye
* Looking at real life attempts to create mechs

These "lookings" will be a mix of blogs, vlogs and audio episodes for my podcast, depending on how time and energy allows. Obviously, I will be signposting other cool online content about mechs, manufacturers of great mech minis, and other blogs, vlogs and podcasts that throw some love to the #mechweek hashtag.

Have you got a favourite mech? A favourite mech manga? A favourite mech novel?

Let me know in the comments below and I will definitely* make sure to include your favourites in the week's coverage.

R.
