Kastellan Robots are supposed to be relics of the Dark Age of technology, barely understood, and pretty much irreplaceable. I would assume that many of their "repairs" are the Admech version of a drunk guy with a roll of Duck tape. Sure it works...kinda. I'm just thinking that over the thousands of years of being used, repaired, and likely cobbled together from cannibalized wrecks and found parts that at some point they would start to diverge and look a little less uniform across the unit.

With that in mind I shook out my bits box. I'm thinking of using the spare legs from an Ambot, bits-ordering a Kastellan torso and head, using shoulders from the plastic Contemptor Dreadnought, and underslinging a set of Heavy phosphor blasters under the shoulders (replacing the stock multimeltas from the Contemptor). I'm hoping you can all picture that.

Too goofy looking?

IF i understand the lore correctly, they did exist before HH, so i think you can get away with whatever look you want.

If the looks end up coming from a 1950s sci-fi comic, you have done the right look.
