Was not really intentional; i had to think a way to do many bases with very similar concept in way qucik enough to not spend on that more time than on the miniatures
so after a little search on internet i found a good idea:
- Astrogranite (i had a pot to try from Conquest)
- Cygor Brown on top of it to make earth-like colour
- Rakhart Flesh drybrush (also from Conquest)
- Agrax Earthshade to smooth them (also i have one of them from Conquest. Plus a couple more in my backup paint drawers

)
and then for the herbal thing:
- green tea really cheap i bought on supermarket (1.59€ and i filled up a small can it will probably last me forever)
- red autumn leaves from Green Stuff World. I love those leaves, they stand up and make every base i'm creating very gorgeous!!
some base shows little difference: earth elemental got big stir foam crystal, naiad wyrmrider got a dry river bed, etc. and fire elemental (not shown, still working on) will got probably a molten lava base
in the end, the autumn aspect is going down very good! and that also give them more characther! (i guess)
and on the plus side: there are a good smell of green tea around the table while we are playing

Yeah :-D
got a lot of spare bits from Hydra, included some whiping and stabbing elfs i would probably recycle in something else... still deciding...
Automatically Appended Next Post: Yeah
i got to say, i need to thank also Contrast Paints from
GW.
Painting a full horde in 4-5 days left me enough time to play with bases and try something else, like clear silicone-based fire elemental, creating a beast from scrap and like
