I have found a cheap box opened, built and unpainted. Nothing is missing.
Is it worth buying? Was thinking to paint it and use it as painting portfolio for its variable minis.
Maybe sell it afterwards. I don’t play AoS so I don’t know if the minis can be bought for that purpose.

Do you think it’s worth it? The price is 90€. Need some feedback.

Thanks

The game is simple but fun in my opinion, and seems to have a bit of replay value due to somewhat random dungeon generation, which characters the players choose and how many players are in the group. Character choice is more interesting with the extra character card packs that were released individually as the base game is fairly limited in character selection. Still for a bit of dungeon crawl fun it's a nice enough game.

Price-wise the player characters seem to be sold for 22.50€ at the moment (20€ originally), so if you think you get value out of painting all six models 90€ is not a bad price to pay considering the Tzeentchian adversaries add even more variety to the mix, even though as adversaries you'll have a number of duplicates in the rank and file (so not worth considering for a portfolio?).

The models originally got rules to be used in AoS, and I believe most of them have been folded into their respective armies since then. I think the elves were the notable exception. I'm not following AoS too closely these days, however, so that may not be entirely accurate.

If its cheap? Sure go nuts, it's certainly fun. I wouldn't call it as good as the original Warhammer Quest but on its own it is a fine game.

The models are nice, cards are okay, board tiles are pretty, there are a lot of heroes to choose from (see the app, maybe need to dig a bit for the apk, seems to be gone from the Play Store - https://www.warhammerdigital.com/Home/whq-silver-tower-app.html), gameplay is okay-ish. Most of the guys I played it with liked it, I found it to be to simplisitc. Maybe my hero just wasn't for me.

90€ seems okay.

Thank you all for the answers. From my POV it seems like a good bargain. Maybe it does not matter if I sell it or not. It has a great variety of models to paint and exhibit. Thank you all

Still have to play it but WQST has an uncommon mechanic where you roll a pool of dice and allocate them to your abilities. Still has randomness, but you get to do something besides roll the same dice until you get new equipment or level up.

I'm not going to get into another argument with someone who thinks the way *they* paint is the *only* way to paint, am I??
