Does anybody know if there are 3D printing services out there? What I am looking for is a company where you give them the file and they print out the minis for you. I have no space or desire to buy a 3D printer but I have seen some cool minis that are only available as STL files. I also know that when you buy an STL file there are often restrictions as to how you can use it.

Thanks for the advice in advance.

Probably a search online will yield a bunch, but you might find some people on the forum here able to resin print your pieces at a reasonable cost. If they are super big, might need to go FDM instead of resin.

I am nearing the end of a super large project and will have capacity in about four weeks. What are you looking to do and how many? You can PM me.

Also, no problem printing out any file you get, whether free or purchased or paying someone to print it for - you just can't offer it for sale to the public unless the license agreement says you can. many of the files on Thingiverse for example have it both ways, and will show whether you can commercially sell them or not.

Thanks for the response. I was looking at the latest Kickstarter for onepagerules and their space skaven minis. I thought they looked cool but I have no reason to back them if I can’t print them myself.

Yeah I've been curious about this myself as Repitlian Overlords has this little mini I want:

I'd be happy to get the file, but I don't have a printer and didn't know of anyone either.

They won't print STL files for you, but they have a library of normally STL-only miniatures that they produce and sell. Might have what you are looking for?
