I pledged. I never expected to pay for STLs with Thingiverse available, but these are great designs attractively priced...and designed to make my second-tier printer look like a hero. I’m happy to pledge.

New Heavy Gear Log! Also...Grey Knights! The correct pronunciation is Imperial Guard and Stormtroopers, "Astra Militarum" and "Tempestus Scions" are something you'll find at Hogwarts.

Thanks for your support. I had a £100 FDM printer to print them on at first, so yeah - being able to print on low-end hardware was an important consideration in their design.
Just so happens I finally got my replacement motherboard from Anycubic today. About to go install it and hopefully get to print that sample... or wait til next week when my photon s arrives.
Either way I know what's going to be fighting my Necrons in a few weeks!
You do realize you're going to have to figure out some jump pack and terminator/ gravis armor equivalents at some point, right? Because you totally do!
I figure if the storm troopers unlock they could be printed a bit larger than the basic ones to represent the heavy armor types for now.
Poorly lit photos of my ever- growing collection of completely unrelated models!
I plan to print at a variety of sizes and compare them to the various Mantic and Medge aliens. I’m not sure how hard it would be to make them look like distinct therapod species by paint job alone, so may have to glue on some feathers or crests from various kits.

Hehe, there's definitely room for the range to grow. Thanks!

As in: to give them four legs? To be honest, that would be quite an extensive redesign that would require re-doing a lot of work. But have you ever played around with a piece of software called Meshmixer? If it's creating alien creatures by mixing parts that you're after, Meshmixer is great for that. Hence the name. It's free and pretty easy to use. Here's an example:

I like the Raptor Stormtrooper Commander as an RPG figure model but I can't find any personal use for the rest. Maybe I'll look up that one model (or the command squad) once backers get their downloads and they're up individually hopefully somewhere for purchase/download.

The plan is to make each squad available for purchase individually once the campaign finishes. So you should be able to grab the Stormtrooper Command Squad off of MyMiniFactory soon.
Any way of getting these in 1/18 scale with accessories, a couple of vehicles and a playset?
Personally this is a wasted product as a miniature. Especially with the toy drought that we are suffering under.
At Games Workshop, we believe that how you behave does matter. We believe this so strongly that we have written it down in the Games Workshop Book. There is a section in the book where we talk about the values we expect all staff to demonstrate in their working lives. These values are Lawyers, Guns and Money.

They are digital files, you can print them any size you like though, realistically. As for the rest, I don't know about that, but if 1/18th scale is popular, you could likely find some other things to go with it, or scale some other 3D stuff for them too. Unless you mean specifically designed, in which case, I'm not sure what the creator is going for outside these few figures.

I don't actually have a 3D printer or a need for any of these, but I backed at a dollar just because I think these are neato

I initially backed this because I really wanted some 28mm scale raptor minis for a weird twist on a Jurassic Park-themed game my brother and I had joked about. Then I really started looking at the designs and realized that I really liked them! I'm looking forward to printing these once the kickstarter is over!

This. They are called Raygun Raptors, and while the little dudes are cool as heck, they seem a little short on the Raygun Gothic aesthetic. I'd love a set of them with rocket packs or something. Maybe even little hover disks? Really steer into that Raygun vibe.
You've done some really fun work though. My hat is off to you, sir.
New printer showed up and I started trying to print some of these.
I had a lot of fails on the pre- supported parts, but that was most assuredly due to me. I think the supports were a bit too thin and the printer was too fast but I got it all sorted eventually doing the supports myself.
We won't discuss how long I tried to figure out how to attach the guns, only until now realizing that I was putting them backwards.
I will probably put a video of them up this weekend along with a link to the campaign. My kids are already asking me to make some even larger prints now!

Thanks for letting me know. I will re-do the pre-supported files later today and strengthen the supports. Someone else also mentioned having similar problems.
Please share the video when it is done. I'd love to see it.
