I would appreciate comments on the flowing 500p Ork list:
Patrol detachment
Warboss on Warbike (Power claw, Stick bombs, Attack squig) 110
10 Gretchins (Grot blasta) 50
1 Mek Gunz (Smasha gun) 40
3 Deff Dreads (Kustom mega-blasta, Dread klaw, two Dread saws) 300
I plan to run this as a DEATHSKULLS culture.
The tornament will be played on 44''^2
The Gretchins is a pure tax as I see it, but I it is of course worth the three CP it would otherwise cost to run it as a Spearhead detachment. Maybe they can be hided and preform some nasty businesses that provides VPs?
I plan to use the DA BIGGEST BOSS strat on the Warboss on Warbike (I assume that this is legal, it has the WARBOSS keyword in the rules from the index???)
Not sure what Kustom Job to give Deff Dreads, all three options sounds valid to me. This is the part I would appreciate input on the most!:
- If I run SPARKLY BITZ (+1BS), I would swap one of the Dread Saws for another Kustom mega-blasta. Together the Dethskull ability they will have a formidable firepower.
- DIRTY GUBBINZ (-1 on to hit them with range weapons) sounds also good since they are the bulk of the army and will get all the heat.
- ORKYMATIC PISTONS (+3M, RR advance) Since the Deff Dreads has to start on the table (it is to big part of the army to use as reserve) this could more easily give me board control. If I use this Kustom Job I will swap the Kustom mega-blasta for another CC weapon and also, I consider to swap the Warboss on Warbike and the Mek Gunz to a Deffkilla Wartrike.
