Hi everyone! Been a while since I posted here properly, and until this year it'd been a while since I'd properly sat down with the brush too. Here's a selection of things I've done with all that spare free time I've found while not being able to have any kind of meaningful social life

Mephiston (had to go with the classic artwork pose, screw that pistol!)

Noise Marine (colour scheme inspired by 80s hair metal)

Warpsmith (drybrushing is my friend)

Terminator Wolf Priest (the skull mask came from the spare bitz in the Grey Hunters box, I believe)

Brokk Grungsson (my first real experiment with contrast paints, which can be seen on ALL of the metallics)

Keeper of Secrets

...and his/her/its Vapourwave Blade!

Lady Olynder (inspired by the ghost of Lady Comstock from Bioshock Infinite, hence the over-elaborate base)

...particularly happy with her hourglass.

Lastly a sharp veer into non-GW territory, a repaint of a Goku figurine.

Let me know what you think! I'll happily take constructive criticism and/or total unadulterated worship. Also happy to share colours and/or techniques used, feel free to ask.

That noise marine is absolutely sick, especially the strings you picked out on the neck.

A fun little diversion, this one. I'm an old-school City of Heroes player - the superhero MMORPG - and I was recently reminded that Hero Forge exists, so I ordered off a version of my main character.
The 3d print is decent enough - it still has issues, but apart from unfortunate slightly-blocky lines showing on the cape, nothing unexpected or causing major problems.

Spoiler:

Fun fact - I set the model parameters to have him wearing a smirk, that you can't see because of the beard, because that's true of his face in the game too.

Bumpity! Today's addition is an extra-burny one - Junith Erutia and her OTT flying pulpit of heretic roasting!

Spoiler:

She's heavily inspired by my Diablo 3 crusader, hence the abundance of gold instead of the usual bone colour for the eagle.
The text reads three things:
Sanctimonialis et Ballistae (closest Google Translate would give me for Latin for "nuns with guns")
Thorns of the Invoker (the Crusader's armour set)
By the light be damned (a Crusader quote).

Spoiler:

I also took a shot of the marble effect that I'm particularly proud of - I started out just doing the chassis in plain stone, but that looked a little dull - the marble idea struck me and I just rolled with it.

Well, I had wanted to take pictures of these in nice crisp daylight, but unfortunately I live in England, where the weather today has largely been somewhere between "you've never even seen this shade of grey before" and "it puts the lotion on its skin".
Soooo, these will have to do. Sector Imperialis ruins! My first real attempts at rust and corrosion... turns out my colours weren't quite the right shades of orangey-brown or turquoise, but on reflection I'm happy with the results.
