So our DM rocks. He's done a lot of work to make our RPG game awesome.

I wanna do something nice. (our game is virtual/ online, but it would be fun to paint him up a few nice figures)

Send me links to nice dwarves that I can paint up and send him. He's a kings of war player, fantasy guy, but basically anything cool and dwarfy you suggest, I'll check out and maybe paint up for the guy!

In reality there is a crapton of dwarf minins out there on the wild google, you should not have any issue finding a suitable mini for your needs.

Never heard of them before but will definitely will check em out.

They are 10 bucks each, that means those are metal, and metal usually come out much better than plastics.
And those sculpts are freaking awesome!

I've heard of Darksword before. They got a lot of licences of the original Dragonlance artists (Elmore being my fave).
Their pitch is that the figures are more naturally scaled, including the weapons.

Actually, the AOW dwarfs were of the modern GW design before GW! I think GW took their inspiration from AOW for their modern line, IMHO.
