Hi.

Do anybody have any experiece gluing GSC special weapons? I am thinking of flamer, greylauncher and webber?

I build webbers during 8th. They cost 1 point. Now they cost 5. Grenade lauchers (often better) also cost 5. Further in most lists I need to save points so I will not always give them a special weapon.

How do I do this? Just one small magnet in each shoulder and in each arm?

You don't need to magnetise both components. Only one. You can use a small piece of something ferrous in the other component. This is useful for smaller components. If you can however, I'd put magnets in both. You can get 2mm neodymium magnets from amazon. Not sure if gsc arms may be a touch small for them though, in which case you'd have to do what I mentioned above. Put a magnet in the torso, then some ferrous metal in the arms.

I have 2 mm for the torso. But they are indeed to big for the arms.

I have no idea where to pick up such metal though.

Never mind, I bought some 1 mm magnets. Looking forward to gluing them on the wrong way :-p

i bought some steel micro screws thinking i could use them one one side. however, they are 'stainless steel' which i didn't realise isn't magnetic :(
however i have found recently that the current uk 1p & 2p pieces are now made of ferrous metal. i use them to weight my bases. i also have a steel broom stick so will now use that plus some spare magnets to prime my minis on

Also I've started taking photos to use as reference for weathering which can be found here. Please send me your photos so they can be found all in one place!!
