Slaughtermaster Vagoc had given the Maggotkin a nasty punch but the Mawtribe was now scattered, just as the forces of Nurgle were assembling for a final counterattack.
The Story So Far
Technically, Slaughtermaster Vagoc had won his battle against the Maggotkin, and he comforted himself with this thought as he ran aimlessly through the diseased jungle, hoping to find the rest of his Mawtribe before the followers of Nurgle found him.
Glungrakk, on the other hand was furious. The Slaughtermaster had travelled far too deep into Maggotkin territory and the whole Mawtribe was now either broken and scattered by that battle or were otherwise ranging far and wide looking for food. Either way, the Ogors were simply not ready to fight.
Bellowing at Kroc the Butcher and any other Ogor close by, Glungrakk charged ahead, hoping to head off a Nurgle counterattack that could drive the Ogors out of the jungles of Ghyran and perhaps end Glungrakk’s inaugural Mawpath altogether.
