Hey all. I just recently released a bunch of tiles for making modern city streets on Thingiverse and Prusaprinters and thought some people here might find them useful.

https://www.prusaprinters.org/prints/41797-city-streets-straight-curb-tile-set
https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4607880

There are several different sets that are each their own download:

  • Plain Sidewalks

  • Straight Curb

  • Straight Curb Median

  • Square Curb

  • Square Curb Median

  • Round Curb

  • Round Curb Median

  • Widen/Narrow Curb

  • They can be combined to make various different layouts. While I'm currently using them For Fallout Wasteland Warfare they were originally designed for a Shadowrun RPG campaign that I ended up not using minis for. Originally they were openlock tiles with roads built in where needed but I much prefer a lighter tile as I don't really care to use clips or anything that really increases setup time when using a mat. I do plan on releasing the Openlock versions at some point but I'll need to look into what's actually require to release one as a hobbyist (probably nothing but still).

In addition to this release I'm working on damaged versions of most tiles. Risers that will allow for elevated elements (this requires some openlock tiles to be out), parking lot tiles and maybe a few other things.

I plan on updating this thread with info as new things come out. I'm hoping to have most of the additional stuff released by the end of the year. The openlock and risers are mostly done. Just a few more designs and painting some examples so those should get done.

    It's true.

There are versions of each tile without a ramp if you prefer to violate said regulations in tabletop form.

I'm pretty sucky at Blender, as I'm way more comfortable in CAD programs, but I've been working on some ruined versions of the street tiles. I've got the first set, which is just the plain curb-less tiles, ready for download.

I'll have some more over the next week or two as I'm currently printing some Halloween stuff for a nephew. I've got some roundabouts made too so those should be appearing once I get things painted this weekend.

Thanks. Hope people find a use for them but I'm pretty much just making them for my own game and providing them for whoever likes them.

I've finally painted up the roundabouts and got them uploaded. Of course stupid Thingiverse isn't showing one of the links in my profile or search results so that's 2 just in the past little while.

I've got some regular and ruined flavors up. There's a "standard" design which just has the sidewalk concrete pattern the rest of the tiles have and then a recessed version that you can fill with flock/dirt or one of the removable inserts so you can print less if you have lots of different scenery elements you want to use.

The regular version (this doesn't show up in the search results)

Been I bit since I updated this thread but I have several more ruined designs up. I'll still need to get things on prusaprinters but thingiverse has fixed most of it's speed issues lately so I haven't felt the need too but will probably once I get the next few done.

    Ruined Straight Curb pieces.

    Ruined Square Corners
and the Ruined Widen/Narrow shifting part

I renamed the thread as I have another set coming out, hopefully this month if I can get everything done, that isn't really part of the tiles and a few more projects for Fallout Wasteland Warfare.

Been a bit. Still need to finish the tiles but in the mean time I've remixed some tigers to get a dogmeat replacement for Wasteland warfare.

Thanks. They're not mine, though I'll probably end up designing some parts to make them more playable and post apocalyptic.

    Here's a bigger shot

The outside buildings are from M3 Studios. Others are From Corvis Games Terrain.

Those are really nicely done. I could see me using those street curbs on my home Fallout table

Thanks. They actually started as openlock tiles for my shadowrun RPG 2 years ago but never got the whole thing finished. The Roads were just blank U tiles. I've made some quick printing risers for them as well, to give elevation to the table build, but just haven't released them on thingiverse as I never finished the over pass system I was working on. Plan on getting them set up to use with these to get some fallout 3 style concrete sections for buildings and such. Probably going to make a half height set as they're the same height as a standard openlock wall I believe. I have sets without the bottom connectors so they'll sit flush with the non-openlock versions already released.

I removed them from the openlock bases for fallout to use with some gamemats I had and to print quicker.

Below are a few photos on how the system works. The blue cylinder is 30mmx30mmx30mm. There are 4 risers types I've made though only 3 are shown in the second picture as the 4th is just all 4 sides) but the main one is the V shaped one as that gives a lot of support and the connectors can hold the rest together. The single sided one can be used to make long sections and I was debating making a small insert that that multiple corners can sit on but it was a bit annoying to put into place.. There's also sidewalks I made that are missing the open lock connectors on certain sides so when they sit on the riser you can make a smooth edge (as on the first image). The stairs however are all one solid block.
