Noob here. I'm thinking about starting 40k again.
A few armies I like and I can imagine playing:
Sisters of Battle, World Eaters (with lots of ForgeWorld models) and Genestealer Cult.
I read that GSC is not strong right now but I really love the Mad Max look.
Could this list work in the 9th edition and actually win games?

Has anyone here tried a GSC list with an Astra Militarum detachment with 3 Manticors? It looks great on paper (to a noob like me)...

Nix the 5 man gene stealer units for a sanctus and a locus. You will get more milage out of those. Pick up a master of ordnance advisor for your manticores.
