Where is the proof, that your masks protect from anything?

It says "approved fabric" on the kickstarter. Approved by whom? Approved for what?

If there aren`t any real protective qualitites, then this product shouldn`t exist.

Most non-medical masks are just a shamefull rip off. Unless they have a filter. This doesn`t look like a medical mask, nor are any filters in sight.

I hope, you are not preying on people, who might want to use your product as means of protection from the pandemic, without actually providing them with said protection.
Because judging by the "anti-virus" emblem in the top right corner, that`s what you`re claiming those masks to be.

Hello

In Spain (Europe) there are 2 institutes that approve masks according to the European standard: UNE-EN14683: 2019 + AC2019, one of them is ITEL.
ITEL is a body for technical assistance, training and research, development and promotion of activities related to cleaning and hygiene in its broadest sense, from Textile Cleaning, Laundry and Dry Cleaning, to surface cleaning, technical cleaning, road cleaning, waste treatment and environment.
https://www.itelspain.com

The material used is waterproof microfiber woven for the manufacture of sanitary textiles, although it is important to indicate that our masks are not for sanitary use, they are for hygienic use or general use only.
We have the fabric certificates, they can be seen in the Ks campaign.
This is the 1 layer specification, the masks will have 2 layers.
From the authorized tests of said sanitary tissue it is clear:
· Aerosol filtration efficiency:> 96%.
· Particle filtration efficiency:> 92%.
Tests carried out according to the UNE-EN13274 and UNE-EN149 standards.
Guarantees protection against solid and liquid aerosols.

Bacterial filtration test (BFE) according to section 5.2.2 of the
UNE-EN14683: 2019 + AC: 2019> 95 standard.
This test measures the percentage of bacteria larger than 3 microns,
filtered through the mask.

On the other hand, the capacity of these tissues to
particle filtration according to the UNE-EN149 standard.
Result: Filtration of particles 0.3 microns in diameter and
higher, equivalent to a filtration efficiency of at least
92%. It complies with current regulations for sanitary garments.

Breathability, differential pressure UNE-EN14683: 2019 + AC2019
whose result is: <38 Pa / cm²

Masks are currently being approved. The results with 2 layers we hope to have by the end of the month, obviously having 2 layers, they should have better filtration than 1 layer.
