Things are not going well for the Ogors – they appear to be leaderless, scattered, and now Grandfather Nurgle is dropping the hammer…

The Story So Far
The jungles of Ghyran erupted with daemonic energies as the wrath of Grandfather Nurgle made itself felt. After the seeming demise of Glungrakk at the hands of the Lord of Plagues, the Mawtribe was scattered, without direction, and getting slaughtered by the Maggotkin.

Now, the Daemons of Nurgle had now arrived to wipe out the Ogor invasion.

Battles sprang up throughout the jungle, with bands of Ogors desperately trying to fight off both plague and daemon across miles of diseased vegetation. Fruitlessly searching for Glungrakk, Kroc the Butcher managed to rally the Tyrant’s Gutguard, the most elite of the Mawtribe. By sheer accident, he also ran into Vagoc the Slaughtermaster, who had been suspiciously absent during the chaos.

The two eyed each other, both seeking a weakness that would allow them to take control of the Mawtribe if Glungrakk was indeed dead.

Realising that they they needed one another, at least for now, they struck out, hoping to leave Maggotkin territory far behind and continue the Mawpath in friendlier (and tastier) regions.

They ran straight into the biggest daemon they had ever seen, surrounded by a force of daemons, as it smashed mob after mob of Ogor Gluttons. Clearly, this was the centre of Nurgle’s power in the region and if that daemon could be slain, surely the lesser entities would be banished and they could escape.
