General idea here is to have target saturation in their face.

Also to have a good amount of tough Obsec Units that will be difficult to move.

Haven’t had a chance to play test it yet, but looking for some input.

Only thing that feels weird is the Lord, thats only because I want access to protocols and the CCBis too expensive.

Also considering Novokh or Nephrekh for the dynasty.

Up to deep striking, it looks like a rather slow army.

Why do you get 2 dynasty traits? It seems like you only get one.

You get one Dynastic Tradition and one Circumstance of Awakening.

Why do you say that?

Skopekh get a 6" pregame move, then 8 inches(+1 for Protocol). But I don't have any way to make them faster.

The only real option for mobility the Necrons have is using a Nightscythe, and even then you can only use it for Core units. There is the Ghost Ark but that only works for 10 Warriors. Only other thing I could do would be to burn CP to deep strike units.

Do you have another suggestion?

I like a lot of it. I think you are way too HQ heavy though.

I would drop the skorpekh lord and the regular lord for a CCB with the voltic staff. This also frees up 50 points. The CCB speed means you can start with the line but then charge up where needed.

Other than the Chronomancer, Skorpekhs don't need a babysitter.

I was originally trying to fit in the CCB but just didn't really have a good place to get the points. I just like the Skorpekh Lord since he is a blender.

I guess the utility of the CCB is somewhat lost since he cant buff any of the destroyer units. What warlord trait you think? Implacable Conqueror or Enduring Will?

Always enduring will. Only good WL trait in the dex.

Here's the thing. Skorpekh lords are NOT a blender. They have the same number of attacks as a CCB or an OL. Both of which can also have a dmg3 weapon from the voidreaper that does not suffer a -1 to hit.

Remember, the CCB is a vehicle so it can shoot in CC. With the voltic staff and whichever underslung weapon you want you are pumping a huge amount of shots into any ongoing combat.

Combine with a 12" move and quantum shielding and there is little reason not to take the CCB in any list.

That's true. I totally forgot about the fact that it is a vehicle. What do you think about using Tesla instead of Gauss for the MW Strat? Or do you think it will not do enough to matter.

It reads to me like you have to choose one or the other unless you specifically choose vassal kingdom. Where does it say you get one of each?

Page 54 in the codex at the top.

'If your chosen dynasty does not have an associated Dynastic Code on pages 52-53, you must instead create their Dynastic Code by selecting one Code from the Dynastic Traditions list, below. Unless you selected the Vassal Kingdom Dynastic Code, you can then also select one additional code from the Circumstances of Awakening List, opposite'

So basically as long as you haven't selected a Vassal Kingdom you pick a Circumstance of Awakening and a Dynastic Tradition.
