This movie has a lot of laughs, but due to the political nature I figured I’d post this in its own thread rather than risk getting the Mini Movie Reviews thread locked.
There is a lot of gross-out humor and some laugh out loud moments, but there are a few real jaw-droppers. I won’t spoil them but you’ll probably hear about some of them on the news.

I thought it was funny, I liked how his daughter played a big part and not just all about borat. The Rudy part surprised me, dunno if it was real or staged? Looked real though.

Borat and Bruno were reasonably funny and I appreciate Sasha's intention with his satire, but his schtick feels very dated to me. He seems to be just preaching to the choir at this point, but I'll admit that could just be because my opinions on social issues largely align with what he has stated. He's used satire in the past to highlight social issues, namely bigotry, but I question it's general effectiveness. I've changed my views considerably since my teenage years, but I would attribute that interacting with a wide variety of people across many walks of life. I don't know if media is particularly effective in convincing people to change their opinions.

Rudy was not in on it, no. Reportedly he called the police on them afterwards.

sheesh, after what happened last time Guiliani filmed a scene with a room, a bed and a girl you'd think he'd have learned...
