As far as BA goes I just wish they'd redo the basic russian infantry so the guns are molded into the hands. It's real fiddly to glue in the rifles when they are separate. New plastics in general are welcome though. The newer plastic infantry they've done for this game are quite a step up from the older ones.

Funny, I just thought about getting an M8 from them for some kitbashing and thought "I would like plastic more". Seems I get lucky

Wasn't SPQR pretty recent?

I was curious to check it out. Sounded like smaller scale skirmishes with ancients. I wonder what's getting revised?

Then again I was using it as pretense to order some Victrix stuff to mess around with...

Poorly lit photos of my ever- growing collection of completely unrelated models!

BA plastic Italians is what I most want, mainly for conversions. Also then there would be plastic sets for all the major factions.

Yeah, it was only released just over a year ago.
I initially felt it was just like one of those games GW releases every now and then with limited thought behind them, no plans for long-term support; more aimed at selling old minis than launching a major game. In that sense, a new book is a surprise, and yet it also doesn't fill me with confidence that a rulebook requires a new edition just a year after release, nor am I sure there will be any major support after. Besides, initial reviews weren't too positive from what I've seen.
SAGA or Clash of Spears seem the better options, covering similarly-sized games for the same factions. Planning to look into these myself before too long, as I too feel the calling of those Victrix plastics...

I really like the sound of that Combined Arms and mixing different gaming systems across all of the theatres of war - will be interested to have a look at how that will work.

Yes, Italian and French getting a plastic infantry kit at all instead of the umpteenth US, British or German kit would be nice.

Nehekhara lives! Sort of!

Don't forget Victory at Sea.

If memory serves, the compete rulebook is due out fairly soon.

Plastic brits and rangers will be nice. Although I have a few of warlords vehicles picked up in sales and such I prefer Rubicon models kits.

January. National starter boxes (the existing fleet boxes, new rulebook, and the markers from the current starter) will also be released at the same time.
