Subject: Refurbishing a Mk1 Land Raider?

Hey all
I have a Mk1 Land Raider. The very old plastic one.
As far as I can tell the only things wrong with it are, a) that I painted it some 25 or so years ago, b) the heavy bolters and pintle mounts have long since been broken off, and c) the rods that attach the Twin-linked Lascannons to the mounts broke and I replaced them with wire from a paper clip.
Bearing in mind I don't know what glue I used to put it together with (probably styrene cement) or if it will all come apart, what can I do with it to refurbish it?
Thanks in advance.
EDIT - sorry, disregard. Can't find unused original Land Raider parts online, which I would want if I were to even start refurbing this, so I have, again, decided to can this idea.

Rob Lee,
Put it up for sale in the Swap Shop...there is a market for those classic tanks, even parts of them. You won't get much...but you may find it a special home where someone will refurbish it.
My two cents,
CB

Someone on here refurbished one, after their younger self tried to do melta damage with a lighter, was repaired with plasticard and looked brand new after, worth a search as it may give you ideas.

if complete but lightly damaged (ie easy to fix), it's worth £30+

Thanks guys.
I think this will get done at some point, but probably not this year. At the very least it needs Heavy Bolters plus a turret or some other mount to put them on. Having now seen a few of the other refurbs done, I'd like to replace the barrel and ends of the Lascannons with the "modern" one's. I think also I could scratchbuild mounts for them similar to the Forgeworld Proteus Land Raider's Lascannon mounts, and could probably attach them with magnets. And I'd like to replace the engine plant at the back with an actual Land Raider one.
However doing the above will cost more than the tank is apparently worth though, so, is it really worth it?
When does a refurb turn into a conversion?
