Can anyone identify these signatures? One appears to be for Gordon Rennie - a writer for the magazine. The other I think is either E or W Mowel, but I couldn't come up with anything for them. They're on Issue One of Inferno! & Warhammer Monthly.

And on that note, any idea of their value. I've had them for years without noticing that either had signatures, or indeed were the first issues...

Edit: someone elsewhere mentioned that Bloodquest was written by Colin McNeil. So I think that's both signatures identified. So I guess the main question now is how much are they worth? I was just going to sell them on cheap like the rest of my old Games Workshop magazines, but I'd like to know if they're worth more than that first.

Gordon Rennie also wrote 'Execution Hour' (and probably more books as well).

Quite possible my all time favourite black library book. Gives more feel for the 40K world than a thousand bolterporn-pulp-books could do put together.

Can't help with the signatures I'm afraid. I'm rubbish even at reading easy handwriting, and people often goes off the rails when it comes to signatures.

It seems relevant that it would be Colin McNeil as he was apparently a Black Library writer at the time and attached to Blood Quest - which is on one of the covers.

Now the real question is how much would someone be willing to pay for these? I've no idea how much the signature would add. But a search online didn't turn up either being signed (and I notice that they're done with different pens, so I wonder if they were done at different events ...or the pen that they were using just ran out of ink).

It's Colin MacNeil's signature, he is the artist on Bloodquest (and the Inferno cover too from the looks of things?) and has done a lot of work for 2000AD/Judge Dredd going back to the 80s. He and Gordan Rennie frequently work together (not just at GW).
