I have doubts with the Terminator Ancient as I think that his FnP aura overlaps with the one from the apothecary but with one acompanying every terminator unit they are as hard as a rock.

You’re right about the overlapping FNP but if you split your forces at least you’ll have 2 different auras worth. Change out the brilliant strategy for master of maneuver or one of the other ravenwing warlord traits.

I like Brilliant Strategist on the Talon master beacause he can use it on himself and keep the -1Fp on his bólters and assault cannons. He can tear down 5 man units of SM with it.

Ok yes I was thinking of another rule either that one or tactically flexible is good to take on the talon master since either way the modifier for the doctrine is a nice buff

3 ravenwing black knights are cheaper by 10 pts and are better in every way, not to mention you can use combined assault stratagem for pinpoint deepstrike charges.

Also the talonmaster becomes a whole lot less of a waste of space
