While no one is short of options when it comes to Marines, I noticed that the BA Tactical Squad kit has been removed entirely from the GW website. It had been listed as Temporarily Out of Stock for ages and I presumed they would be restocked with a new box like the DC set but now I’m not so sure. They’re still available in the big Combat Patrol box but I was going to pick up those on their own when they came back. Does anyone have any insight?

It’s not a particularly old kit (2014) so I don’t think it would be retired yet... but if it’s gone, it’s probably the start of a phasing out of firstborn kits. Don’t get too down, just file it under “wait and see.” Maybe just be out of reboxing until the codex drops next week.

Everything is being re-boxed with new branding, this is probably the case for the tactical squad. If something is going to go entirely, they put it up for 'last chance to buy' to clear inventory first.

Fingers crossed, I really like that kit but don't really want the Combat Patrol box. Though I'm sure if I bother I will find a box online elsewhere.

I'd say its just being reboxed and set out again with a sweet new jacket. Hopefully at the same old price.
