I appreciate the feedback. Obviously this isn't exactly something that can't be figured out by simply going to the website and adding everything up. I thought someone might have done it already.
So about £8,000 a year equals roughly $10,600 or just under $890 a month.
Cheaper than free to play video games at least.
Not sure if video games are a good example to compare to.. But.. Of course if you need to buy every game then sure thats going to be more expensive.. But that's not games being expensive that's you as a person(not you personally) not being bale to control their spending...
I have a friend who buys every new game. All limited edition tacky Chinese manufacturing figurines... The whole shebang.. Obviously he always complains he has no money to go for a drink down the pub or see a movie etc..
He recently did a round up of all of his games. He has over 400 games he has bought that he hasn't even played yet. Yet he keeps buying the newest games.
There just simply aint enough hours in the day to either utilise all of the GW
content or all gaming content if you are an adult with some sort of job (even if your job involves miniature painting).
At some point you just have to accept there are limitations and not get bogged down by some misguided "completionism OCD".. Life is a lot easier and less stressfull that way IMO
There is a reason its called a pile of shame. and we all got it..
