Off the bat, I'd really suggest taking the special weapons off of the strike squads. Save for maybe the flamers.

One has to wonder. Do the Tyranids consider drop-assault troops... fast food?

My plan for the psycannon group was to sit back more and provide overwatch they wouldn’t be moving much except to hold the home objective. The incinerator group would be the ones moving up to take middle and other secondary objectives. Until I add a purgation squad than I would modify both squads with no heavy weapons and just melee options. Sadly it’s just what I have at the moment.

If you're looking for having units that are going to secure objectives and actually sit there. Then I'd have to push for Terminators being your option in that regard.
They have higher survivability, always use Rapid Fire, and have the necessary Wounds, along with the stratagems to capitalize on them.

If you really want to stick with the Strike Squads. Then you should take Force Staves & sanctuary. They'll be much harder for your opponent to shift from the objective that way.

As for vehicles. Lose the LR unless you're really in need of it. Because you can still take the Stormraven. Although I'm saying that more out of the flyers utility, than out of it's survivability. As most armys have access to some of the more aggressive AA options this edition, than most others before.
For starters, less armor save and less wounds. But a -1 modifier to being hit. You can reliably tank hunt with it and you can load it down with some pretty nasty surprises. Namely the whole paladin squad, apothecary & Voldus. As well as a dreadnought if you happen to get your hands on one in the near future. This will let you save on the "Deep strike" count.

If you want to capture objectives, then you can still use the interceptors to turn 1 them, or and this is a big choice. Use their 1 use teleport, to gank choice objectives that you've not managed to capture in the later half of the game. Use them to peel easy targets off the board and then "Teleport" them out of there at the second to last turn.

Do you have any specific questions that you'd like addressed?

One has to wonder. Do the Tyranids consider drop-assault troops... fast food?

Thanks for the advice! Yeah GK is my side project so I’m still building them up slowly gonna add a chaplain and a dreadnought probably but I barely play them enough to know for sure. I may wait until the next big FAQ drop which I guess is happening soon before I fully pull the trigger on any big changes. I’m just trying to decide if I should add a purgation squad for some heavy support and if I do what weapons to place on them also if I should do a 5 man a 10 man or two 5 man squads?

They eat up your heavy support slot, but I've been running two squads of psilencers for mostly everything heavier than T4.
But if I'm up against a large MEQ army, then I'll switch out for the psycannons. As they'll pretty much delete entire squads of fire warriors and elder alike.

As a side note, you can run them with incinerators and use gate to drop them in range to swat at flyers, or assassins, or basically anything that imposes to hit modifiers.

If you manage to grab a dreadnought, I'd highly suggest running a venerable. Due to how their models piece together, you can pretty much switch out arms on the fly and with a GMs re-roll aura in range. You can load the venerable up with lascannons/missiles and use it as a gun emplacement. Plop astral aim on him and you now have a turret that does not require line of site and will be hitting around 97% of the time.

Cutting back on the characters would be a good choice as well. Unless it's Crowe, seeing as he's so cheap.
