Still playing X Wing, still enjoying it greatly.

Unfortunately, my inability to get my hands on new models is really starting to grind. Even the limited stuff that is in print for second edition is hard to get my hands on.

Any word from FFG on if they'll be ramping things up with this game? I don't want to see the game die, but things are looking grim.

You say Fiery Crash! I say Dynamic Entry!

FFG have given up on X-Wing - it's been moved to Atomic Mass Games.

Well that's upsetting.

Hopefully Atomic Mass Games does some good with it... though I don't know much about them.

Sounds like I should by up what remaining stock I can find before it's too late.

They've got some ex GW & Privateer people on staff, and did Marvel: Crisis Protocol. They're both owned by Asmodee.

Yea models during this covid year has been hard to come by.
Example, at my local web shops, wave 8 that was i guess internationaly released in november, wont make its first apperance before januar/februar.......(armada is even worse with 3-6 months restock time)

Thing is, we dont know how long FFG will make the SW minis and how mutch covid shutdowns will affect their productions.

FFG didn't "give up" on X-WIng, it was moved by the parent company to a different division within the same company, effectively. All the old FFG miniature games are now being done by Atomic Mass Games. Jury's still out on whether that's a good or a bad change.

For the new ships, many never actually made it into stock due to Covid issues and FFG's usual stock problems (part of the reason for the change to AMG was to try to alleviate this, I think). At the moment I think the V-wing and HMP Gunship aren't available anywhere and it seems, in the UK at least, stock of other ships in the new wave is very low.

It seems to vary by distributor, I got both the V-Wing and new Slave 1 from Wargamestore in Wirral on release day whilst the ETA 2 was delayed by a week. My preorders from both Wayland and Element didn't happen and I havent seen them come back in stock (or get stock at all). Seems like shopping around is the answer.
I got so bored of waiting for B2 droids for Legion to get restocked in NZ that I bought them from Thailand.

On parle toujours mal quand on n'a rien à dire.
