Looking to buy a needle file set but not sure what to look for exactly. I want to use them to clean up 3d printed models and 40k minis. If you can include a link to buy them or a brand name it would be greatly appreciated.
The two shapes I get the most use out of are the narrow round and the three-sided, so look for a set that has those. I rarely use the flat one. I think my set had two rounds, a tri, a square, and a flat and they've done the job. Buy a wire wheel for your dremel to keep them clean if you get into any glue or green stuff.
If you've got a Princess Auto near you, try there. I've gotten two sets of jewelry files from P.Auto over the years, one standard and one diamond grit and they're also a good source for high grit wet sandpaper. Pick up a brass brush while you're at it for cleaning 'em.
Princess Auto also has an online shop, if you're out in the boonies.
