so being some of the oldest and ugliest kits in my opinion i was wondering if ay of you have converted or are using alternate gw models for freeguild?

i saw a pic of what looked like a regular person stormcast/combo once that was pretty awesome but would probably be expensive to convert.

any thoughts?

completely wont fly in a gw store. But there are LOTS of war-machine models that would make great free guild. especially cygnar. and since AOS plays pretty heavily into steam punk when COS is concerned. the war machine aesthetic doesn't look out of place.

There's a line of minis called "Conquest" which has a faction that might work--the Hundred Kingdoms. Late medieval swordsmen/crossbows/halberdiers. I don't know anything about them though, aside from having seen them on the FLGS shelves. Looked like they were targeting the Warhammer aesthetic.

Look into ASOIAF miniatures for Lannisters. They would make great Free Cities in my opinion.

There are a ton of great models in the CMON ASOIAF line. They also scale well with GW fantasy stuff.

I mean, non-GW Perry Miniatures makes some solid 15th century Landsnechts (and also sculpted the older, pre-7th ed empire/freeguild troopers), but I think they were asking for GW specific stuff.
