I put a post up a couple of weeks ago at the start of my 28mm Victrix Allied Italian Legion Project and I'm going to use this as a thread for the whole build.

I've laid out the project bases on the table as blanks and will fill them in as I go along. Its part of my attack at the Analogue Hobbies Winter Paint Challenge so I've got till March 21st to get them done. Can I do it ?

Wow super impressed with this project. I like the choice of going with the allied legion, they do seem abit under represented considering they comprise roughly half of roman armies.

Great painting and the shields really turned out good. I like how you got them packed up into a tight formation on your bases too. keep up the good work, i will be stalking your blog now

The progress photo at the end fills me with a bit of hope that I might actually get this done.

If you do take time to click on the link above it would be great if you have a look round some other posts on the Analogue Hobbies Winter Paint Challenge some great entries this year.

See you in a couple of days for some Commanders.

Closing in on the end now, the second of two, two figure, Command Bases, these Victrix horses are lovely but rather large, not sure if three would fit on a 60mm frontage like the rest of my Cavalry.

Last batch of Principes next.

I gave up trying to find my 8 #Velites deserters so these lads have been recruited from @Gripping_Beast to fill the gap. Just Triarii and a Command Base to go.

Well done sir! Impressive speed.

It is always nice to get a project done. Many of us gamers never manage to do that!

Nice! I love the white colour scheme. What game system are you using them for?

Wow that is mighty impressive!

Victrix seems to have enough bits to really give them a lot of variety (heads etc) so you never feel like you're looking at the same model

I'm hoping to make a Cartharge army about 1/3 this size, will be happy to finish it by 2022
