I have not read any of the Horus Heresy novels that deal with Magnus, his Thousand Sons, or Prospero, but could someone enlighten me as to what their belief system was? Did they worship a god or pantheon of gods like we see with ancient Egyptian culture before the arrival of the Emperor? If so, could you briefly name them or break them down to what their functions were? I was thinking of creating a successor chapter for Ultramarines that had Ptolemaic or Roman Egyptian features, because Rome came into control of it after the death of Cleopatra. That being said, were there any other planets in the vicinity of Prospero that adopted some of their culture? Could there have been an expansion of worlds that the Thousand Sons were able to conquer and leave their impression on the general population? A "New Prospero", if you will.

Thank you! Much appreciated!

There's no indication of a religious culture shown, even pre compliance.
This is why Magnus is such a natural rival to Lorgar - he sees himself as 'rational' and despite knowing about warp predators (i.e. daemons) doesn't perceive the pantheon as 'gods'.
They're big on abstract spiritualism - numerology and so on, and are happy to interact with minor warp spirits - but don't really have a religion per se.

I'm sure there will have been worlds with prosperine culture.

Excellent idea for basing a world's 40k culture on. Post-Heresy when the Imperium grows religious, do please include a hefty dose of Alexandrian riots between different peoples and sects, and the vicious regional rivalry with Antioch and religious strife with the Imperial centre of Constantinople: https://discourse.chaos-dwarfs.com/t/on-inspiration-and-historical-reference-what-is-40k/764/6?u=admiral
