Auspicious Aspiring Champion of Chaos

life.

Hello all,

Welcome to my blog

I'll make this short and sweet: I really would like commentary.

I also track my progress in terms of how many models I complete throughout the year.

----------------------------( Edited first post)--------------------------------------------

Vive la revolution comrades!

2020 was a hell year for all of us, for multiple reasons. As of the time of writing, the year was one of the worst for me on a personal level in quite a long time. That said, there were also some highs, so its not all gloom.

With that said, and a month and 10 days in , I'm opening my 2021 blog here on DakkaDakka. My initial goal for this year is 365 miniatures equivalency, as per usual.

To stand testament to my progress, my tracker and self imposed rules are below, to be edited as necessary.

Good looking Imperials! Gaudy, and great yellows! Pink and Yellow is an underrated combo. Would I be right to assume that you actually undercoated the yellow with pink as well? It's a very warm life-like yellow.

See what's on my painting table Now painting: Kruleboyz Gutrippaz

Cool to see your 2021 blog, I really liked your Persian project. Looks like some similar bright colors are being brought to bear on your Empire and I'm way into it. Marienburg?

My painting log is full of snakes

Thanks for sticking around. the Persian project will be folded into this thread, as I am nowhere near done with them yet. not marienburg. magenta and yellow is ostermark. Yellow and black is Averland. Other units will be forthcoming.

Neat! I hadn't seen that kit before, really fits that steam-powered Empire tech aesthetic.

Can't remember how many times I've started a cult due to lack of anything better to do. Yet to recruit a single follower though.

Really cool conversions, those would work in a variety of systems, I like the potential for a pulp-era skirmish warband.

I've been watching Horatio Hornblower all week. Therefore I figured my cities of sigmar army could probably use some naval action.

I went to the drawing board of wacky ideas and this is the work in progress result. And yes the navigator is a celestial wizard.

The airship and its crew are brilliant, both in concept and execution. If I have one suggestion, it would be to festoon the Eisenkern armor with lots of old-timey pouches and bags.

Christmas has come in march.

I've wanted some of these models for a very very long time.

From left to right: original metal marius lietdorf, con raukov, and boris todbringer. Exalted valten, ice queen of kislev. Light wizard, and then Grand Masters of the blazing Sun, knights panther, and White Wolf.

I also have horses for everyone, but they are not pictured
