Hi everyone

What's up all? This time I wanna pick your brains about candles.

Feel like making some of my dudes a bit more gothic &c. and decided there's no better way than a bunch of candles melted onto your armor.
Anyone know how to build your own? I've got a few styrene rods, and some wire for wicks, but I'm not totally sure how to get that to look like melting wax just yet.
Followed some tutorials online, which seemed to suggest PVA glue over the styrene once the wick is nicely attached, but tbh it feels a bit lackluster, though maybe I just need to layer up the PVA a bit more? Am I going about this all wrong? Should I stop striving for such olympian goals and just buy the greenstuffworld ones?

Cheers!

im not sure if you have seen these but i remembered watching one of these videos in the past that talked about making candles. depending on your sculpting ability, i think green stuff or milliput for the flame would be the best, and possibly easiest option.

okay, looks like I was roughly on the right track, in that case. I'll keep at it, I guess!
