Thematically nice but if you want a proper wraith army, you need a Wraithknight and 3 Wraithlords. No reason other than they look awesome.

Hey, I've had two Wraith army's myself since I started the hobby, so have a some experience fielding them. If you want to try go competitive with as many Wraiths as possible, then go Expert Crafter's (arguably one of the best army rules across any list) and headstrong for the +1 to charge.

As for the list this is what I'd personally change, which isn't actually too much. I'd drop the hemlock, from my experience with them, even with lightning fast they crumple and you'll rarely see a return for the points. With those points I'd get another serpent. Kit them all out with Missiles so you can have some versatility Vs infantry with the blast option available.

Also double the farseers, (so drop one spiritseer) far more reliable with the runes to reroll and powers which are super clutch. Make the spiritseer your warlord and give him seer of shifting vector, so he can reroll his protect/jinx if it fails once per turn.

Double Wraithseers to get that extra psychic utility. Also pretty fun to give one witch strike to make them truly devastating in close combat. One Wraithlord (no need for the glaive as it's fists are sadly way more reliable with flat 3dmg). Should probably ditch the flamers, shuriken catapults are better and cost nothing also. Kit all your constructs with brighlances to give your whole army some really potent high damage ranged threat as your wraith host marches up the board! (Expert crafter's makes all of this bright Lance fire very reliable, especially as you've got no penalty to moving with heavy weapons).

All wraithguard units have a transport to zip up the board with the big constructs following and Dire avengers camping back objectives.

Hope that helps if you're gunning for something abit more optimised

So i haven t played in a couple editions, but just found 30 wraithguard 2-3 wraithlords and a wraith knight in my closet. I have 1 serpent. I have the leaders. You can't take wraithguard as core troops anymore i take it? Id need to get the craftworld codex and some troops to make an army right?

Have a look into the 9th ed rule book and especially into the possible FOC's.
You will see that you can play an elite army.

Played a similar build with Hunters and wrath, it's decent.
The Avengers will die horribly and I think you'd be better of just going for a Vanguard and forgetting the weak troops (unless a few rangers for secondaries)
