In these posts you will find a collection of miniatures and other things miniature related such as games, cons, tutorials, and terrain.

Pictured here is half of my in progress US 15th 1st Battalion as part of the Army of the Cumberland's 2nd Brigade, 1st Division. Alongside them is BG John H King, leader of said Division. All models are of Perry plastic and metal with for the most part Vallejo paints. I decided to base em on squares so I can play them for more skirmish style games such as Sharpe Practice or anything else of the sort. The flag is a rough approximation of XIV Corps flag as I could not find a producer for it. Not my best flag work but works enough for now.

This picture was done a little earlier but gives you a better look of the officer model.

Painting the enlisted men was pretty easy and was pretty much a simple triad all the way through beyond maybe a wash in a darkish tone. Weathering on the trousers was done by the using the thin basing colors and later light dry brush when basing.

Automatically Appended Next Post:

Pictured here is store that my local club has for western style games. First attempt as some nice vallejo and ak weathering products that allowed me to get the work done for it. The terrain itself is woodcut in house.

My old lady witch for a game of Frost Grave. Currently still working on the rest and will base this model soon.

Hey mate, nice start to the blog!

Some nice edge highlighting here - I'll bet the blue coats in particular look great on the tabletop.

Great neutral palette on the witch; bit different to the Perry yanks.

Thanks for sharing - keep us posted on the progress!

Why thank you. You will find if you follow this little blog that I paint a large variety of miniatures including AP Hill's Light Division, Team Yankee IDF, and a bunch more I hope to share.

Spoiler:

Spoiler:

More Frost Grave, this time from the female set. Big Image on the first so better to put it under spoilers. Really like how this came out.

Girl from the Bund Deutscher Mädel. Warlord model that I really found characterful.

An older Warlord pewter SS. Adding this to the last ditch forces I have for Bolt Actio.

Now for my Portuguese, ready to push the French away from home with their historical ally the British.

Great looking group shots mate!

Everything holds up even zoomed in - the faces are particularly impressive.

Great mix of armies in here - bring on the Portuguese!
