Hi all,

I have a n00b question as I’m just getting back into fantasy (bought a load of Dark Elves).

Dark Elves have the “murderous prowess” rule that enables them to re-rolls 1s *in close combat*.

The Cauldron of Blood’s “Strength of Khaine” rule states that friendly models with the murderous prowess rule within 6” re-roll ALL failed to-wound rolls. Unlike murderous prowess, it doesn’t specify close combat.

RAW, does this mean it applies to shooting wound rolls? E.g. if I have a load of dark shards within 6” they get to re-roll failed wound rolls with their repeater crossbows?
