If you already have the models, then have at it. If you don't, I would caution against putting your money down. The trend with 9th edition codices has been to limit the number of HQs you can take. For example, Death Guard can only have one Lord of the Death Guard (ie. a Daemon Prince, Chaos Lord, Lord of Contagion, etc.) per detachment. I suspect that design philosophy will be applied across all codices, so you won't be able to take two Daemon Princes or two Greater Daemons in any given detachment.

Other than that, seems fun as hell.

I agree with counterwavecounter, I wouldn't commit too much money to this anytime soon unless you have the right models. It does look fun however, my only thought is wherever you're shooting yourself in the foot by being 8CP down pregame.

As a counter point, they did backpedal with Death Guard on the Daemon Princes counting as a Lord of Death, so you may now have 3 in a detachment if you really wanted. Though I think the advice is sound for the Greater Daemons.

Thanks a lot guys - I own all of the models (much to the dismay of my wallet!) so I'll take the codex changes as and when they come. For psychic powers, are there any changes which would make the list more viable?
